Digital Futures — web development

About

The person you talk to is the person who builds it.

Digital Futures is a small studio, and small is the point. There is no account manager relaying your notes to a designer who relays them to a developer you never meet.

Why this exists

Good businesses lose work to bad websites.

You can be the best in your area at what you do and still lose the job to someone worse, because their site loaded in a second and yours didn’t load at all on a phone. That happens constantly, and the business owner usually never finds out it happened.

Most small businesses end up with one of three things: a template site that looks like a thousand others, a site a relative built in 2016 that nobody can edit any more, or a monthly subscription for something they don’t control and can’t take with them. All three cost work.

Digital Futures builds the alternative — a site that is genuinely yours, genuinely fast, and built to do one job: make the phone ring.

How we work

Four things we hold to.

01

You own everything

The domain is in your name. The site is yours. If you ever want to move it elsewhere or hand it to someone else, you can, and you won’t need permission or a password we’re holding.

02

The price is the price

One number agreed in writing before work starts. It doesn’t move because a project took longer than expected — that’s our problem to manage, not yours to pay for.

03

We won’t claim what we can’t back

Nobody can promise you a number one ranking or a specific number of calls. Anyone who does is guessing or lying. We’ll tell you what a site can reasonably do and what it can’t.

04

We’ll say no

If a website isn’t what your business needs right now, or we’re not the right people for the job, you’ll hear that on the first call. A bad fit costs you money and costs us a reputation.

Straight answer

Digital Futures is a new studio.

You’d find that out eventually, so here it is up front. There is no decade-long client list on this site because there isn’t one yet.

What that means in practice: your project gets attention a busy agency couldn’t give it, and it matters enormously that you end up happy, because early work is what a studio gets judged on for years. You also aren’t paying for anyone’s office, sales team, or overheads.

If that trade — more attention, less history — isn’t one you want to make, that’s completely fair. If it is, the first call costs nothing and you’ll know quickly either way.

Start with a call. It costs nothing.
