Digital Futures — web development

Services

What you get, spelled out.

Every project includes all four of these. They aren’t tiers or add-ons — a site missing any one of them doesn’t do its job.

01

Design and build

The design starts with your service and the person buying it, not a template that happened to be nearby. What does someone need to see before they trust you with their house, their car, or their business? That question decides the layout, the order of the page, and what goes above the fold.

Then it gets hand-coded. No page builder, no theme carrying a thousand features you’ll never use, no stack of plugins quietly breaking each other. The result is a site that loads fast, works on every phone, and doesn’t need babysitting.

Included

Custom design on every page. Mobile, tablet and desktop layouts. A contact form that emails you directly. Google-friendly page structure. Your domain connected and secured with HTTPS.

02

Words that do the selling

Most small business websites describe the business. The ones that work answer the customer’s question instead: can you do my job, do you cover my area, and what happens when I call?

Before writing anything, we research how people actually search for your service — the real phrases, not the ones that sound professional in a brochure. Those phrases go into your page titles, headings and copy where they belong, and nowhere they don’t. Keyword stuffing reads as desperate to customers and gets ignored by Google anyway.

Included

Every page written from scratch. Search research for your service. Titles and meta descriptions written per page. Headings structured so Google can follow them. If you already have copy you like, we’ll work from it.

03

Fast on a phone

Most people who find you are standing outside, on a phone, on one bar of signal, deciding between you and the next result. A site that takes five seconds to appear has already lost that decision.

Pages are built light on purpose: no heavy frameworks, images sized and compressed properly, fonts loaded so text shows immediately. Speed isn’t a nice-to-have here — it’s the difference between a call and a back button.

Included

Every page tested on real phone screen sizes. Images compressed and correctly sized. Tap targets big enough for thumbs. Text readable without zooming.

04

Looked after, after launch

Prices change. You add a service, drop one, move premises, get better photos. On most sites that means either learning a dashboard you’ll use twice a year, or paying someone to quote a twenty-minute job.

Here you send the change and it gets made. Ongoing care can be part of the project or left out completely — if you’d rather handle it yourself, that’s a perfectly good answer and it costs you less.
